The Walking Dead: Episode 1 – A New Day Review
0 CommentsPosted by Robert on April 30, 2012 under PC Gaming, PS3
The Walking Dead: Episode 1 is bloody, brutal, and hard to put down. Gripping storyline and first-rate characters and dialogue, fantastic and stylish artwork, panicky and crazy action sequences. This is not your average Telltale Games adventure. The developer best known for all-ages affairs like the Back to the Future and Tales of Monkey Island franchises has nimbly waded into the guts and gore ... more. -
Blades of Time Review

Blades of Time is a mediocre game, with an inventive combat system utilizing time manipulation. Dreadful writing and one of the most annoying protagonists in a dog's age dampen its charms, while the puzzles between combat show a dearth of creativity. Blades of Time is a game about rewinding time that just so happens to also be a spiritual successor to the poorly received X-Blades. While developer... more. -

Ridge Racer Unbounded Review

Ridge Racer Unbounded is a dramatic departure for the series, but one that's filled with some gloriously destructive, fast-paced racing. Ridge Racer Unbounded is, as its name suggests, Ridge Racer without limits. Your cars are no longer simple drifting machines, but tools of destruction, and the fictitious, urban tracks of Shatter Bay are your calamitous playground. Cars leap, streets explode, an... more. -
Skullgirls Review

Skullgirls is a risque fighter that wraps sex appeal and smooth jazz skintight around a smartly crafted fighting system. The first thing anyone notices in Skullgirls is the hypersexualization of its all-female cast. In this 2D fighter, the skirts are short, the legs are long, and the chests are, well, you get the idea. It's a treat for some, but for those who scoff at this most basic of carnal pl... more. -
I Am Alive Review

Constant tension and difficult emotional decisions make I Am Alive a powerful adventure. Your city is in ruins. Destroyed cars litter the decimated streets and lie dormant beside the crumbling buildings that struggle to rise above the twisted train tracks. Dust swirls and cloaks, choking anyone unfortunate enough to be caught in its suffocating gusts. And the people are in even worse shape than t... more. -
Devil May Cry HD Collection Review

While light on extras, the Devil May Cry HD Collection shows that two-thirds of the original DMC trio are still fun today. Dante must realize he's inside a video game. His world is an urban wasteland beset at all times by demonic creatures, yet all he does is laugh. Surrounded by such madness, most would live in fear. But not Dante; his only concerns are weapons, women, and the occasional slice o... more. -
Closure PS3 Review

By creating intriguing rules and pushing its ideas to impossible places, Closure cements itself as a great puzzler. Unimaginable horrors hide in the darkness. Is there a monster lurking just out of sight? Or maybe a deadly trap poised to cut you to shreds? In Closure, such conventional fears never surface. Rather, it's the darkness itself that poses the biggest threat. To step off the lightene... more. -

Mass Effect 3 Review

Mass Effect 3 is a remarkably satisfying conclusion to a beloved trilogy, and a poignant and memorable role-playing action game in its own right. Mass Effect was about time and place; you discovered the Milky Way's landmarks and races, guided by memorable characters like Tali and Garrus, who served as representatives of their cultures. Mass Effect 2 was about people; you learned more abou... more.
